Sam bought and built up the business previously known as Carapairs in 2010, starting from a one man show with a mobile workshop, to what has now become the Our Van RV caravan centre. A qualified mechanic, auto electrician and caravan repairer with over 25 years experience. With some of the highest customer service awards from the largest automotive organizations in the country including Ford Motor Company, Inchcape (Subaru) and Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd, he is known as "The Boss". Sam has established excellent relationships with our core suppliers such as Camec, Dometic Waeco, Narva, Thetford, Aussie Traveller and Al-Ko to allow the parts and accessories side of the business to flourish and is generally the face and voice of the business.
Josh, originally a successful chef and restaurant owner, changing career direction to focus more on family, Josh started working with Sam and learned how to service, repair and rebuild damaged caravans over a couple of years working on the floor together. Once Our Van RV opened up, Josh's ability to run the workshop, co-ordinate repairs and insurance work became his focus and now runs our workshop and in the role of General Manager.
With their combined wealth of business knowledge, customer service and expertise in repairs and maintenance, they are able to help with any enquiry you might ever have.
Part Time Service Receptionist & Adviser
Lachlan joined the team at in April 2018. He has shown an incredible aptitude and ability to return smashed caravans to as new condition in only days. He has a background in repairs, service and maintenance and installation of electrical systems and is very customer service oriented. Lachlan is also our part time service receptionist and adviser.
Customer Service Representative
Joe joined Our Van RV parts department in February 2020 and has an extensive background in customer service. Joe has helped develop our parts range and on-line parts stores, maintaining a focus on customer service and store development.
Nathan joined the team in 2015 and is our resident caravan service technician. Having performed thousands of caravan services and minor repairs, he is our go to guy for getting your caravan serviced and back on the road quickly. Brakes, bearings and minor electrical repairs are all his strong suit.
General Caravan Repairer
Kasey joined the team in 2015 and is in training as a general caravan repairer. He has performed hundreds of caravan services, electrical repairs, general maintenance repairs such as brakes and bearing changes. Kasey performs a large number of chassis, spring and chassis fitting repairs and assists senior repairers with smash repairs.
Tim joined Our Van RV as Parts Manager in January 2022.
Tim's extensive background in parts and accessories retail, inventory management, warehousing and procurement makes him a valuable addition to our team and brings a wealth of experience and customer service, allowing us to be more in touch with the needs of our customers for their spare parts, accessories and repair parts needs.
Meg joined Our Van RV in 2020 and is our service receptionist. Meg is very passionate about providing customer service and is extremely efficient at administrative work. Meg handles the booking schedule for our repair and service workshop and helps customers to co-ordinate their insurance claim assessments.
With a solid background in automotive accessories installation, supply and service. Tim joined Our Van RV during the late part of 2021 and was brought on board to help cater for the additional demands in pre-delivery and handover of new caravans. Tim is meticulous in ensuring our new caravans are delivered and handed over to their new owners in the best possible condition.
Yard co-ordinator and General maintenance officer.
Mo joined Our Van RV in mid 2021 as our yard co-ordinator and general maintenance officer. Mo makes sure our yard is always presented well, tidy and makes sure all the caravans are safely stored and moved in and out of our yard. Tim takes care of day to day cleaning and janitorial duties to ensure our facilities are always meeting a high standard of cleanliness and meeting the modern needs of our Covid-Safe work plan.
Brandon joined Our Van RV as our spare parts picker, packer and storeperson in late 2020.
Rebecca S - Rebecca is our accounts administrator. Working in a fast paced and complex industry, balancing the books and making sure everyone is paid on time is crucial to ensuring Our Van RV can continue to provide our customers and suppliers alike the seamless experience they have become accustomed to.
John joined Our Van RV in 2020 and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in major repairs with over 20 years in the caravan industry. He has a background in caravan manufacturing and design and is a qualified cabinet maker. John's attention to detail and understanding of how caravans are put together ensure a quality finish to every repair.
Pre Delivery Technician & Handover Assistant
Tim is our Pre Delivery technician and handover assistant. His eye for detail and methodical approach ensures that all new caravans we sell are checked for quality, fit and finish and to ensure that every part of the caravan you have ordered is working and ready to enjoy. Scott also performs the handover of the new caravans to demonstrate to the new caravan buyer all the attributes of their caravan and to make sure they know how to use the caravan and safely connect it to the tow vehicle before leaving.
